Kingston offers dual USB and microUSB Thumb Drive for Mobile devices

Not to be left behind with the growing demand of mobile storage, Kingston has announced its new DataTraveler MicroDuo Flash Drive which offers both USB and microUSB heads. This gives smart phones without microSD expansion slot an alternative way to transfer files or simply to back up, as long as USB OTG (On the Go) is supported. You can check out the list of compatible devices here.

The MicroDuo comes with a choice of 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. In terms of speed, the drive supports USB 2.0 which is similar to SanDisk’s offering. SanDisk has started selling their Ultra Dual USB Drive in Malaysia from RM55 for 16GB capacity. It shouldn’t take too long before Kingston’s version is made available locally.

Head after the break for a couple more product shots of the dual Flash drive.

For more information, head over to Kingston’s DataTraveler MicroDuo product page.
