HTC to start roll out KitKat update for One max as early as March and One mini in April

Just recently HTC has rolled out its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for its original 4.7″ HTC One and now we’ve got some news for the other 2 siblings (HTC One max & HTC One mini). According to HTC’s official posting on Reddit, the HTC One max will start receiving the new Android update as early as March next month while its smaller HTC One mini will get it later in April.

A quick check on HTC’s software update page reveals that the update for HTC One max and One mini is under certification, which is just one step before it gets pushed out to consumer devices.

If you’re having a HTC One and face “corrupted file” issues when updating, you can try the following steps below:
1. Go to settings > App (located below Beats, Sound, Call)
2. Swipe to the right to “ALL”
3. Locate” Updater”
4. Clear Data
5. Clear Cache
