Samsung have been launching their flagship devices at their special Unpacked event. Now they have released details of its upcoming Unpacked event that’s happening on 24th February which is Day 1 of Mobile World Congress 2014 at Barcelona. In terms of venue, they are having it at Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (Barcelona International Conventions Centre) which is 10KM away from MWC.
Samsung is working on a couple of fresh devices for 2014 which includes its upcoming Galaxy S5 flagship. Interestingly, Samsung had also launched the Galaxy S II at MWC 3 years ago but international roll out only started a few months after.
If the Galaxy S5 is launched at the upcoming MWC 2014 event, we can expect it to be available in Malaysia within the next month provided there’s no issues or manufacturing delays. The “5” in the Unpacked invite is strongly hinting the possibility of Galaxy S5 similar to how they emphasise on “Note the date” on their past Note 3 event.
It is happening at 20:00 CET which is 3AM 25th February in Malaysia. The event will also be streamed live at youtube.com/samsungmobile so don’t forget to mark your calendars.
