LG’s first curved display smart phone, the G Flex will be available in Korea tomorrow. Claiming to be the true first curved smart phone, the G Flex does pack a couple of interesting new features. While the screen curves at an opposite direction compared to its rival Galaxy Round, LG claims to offer a better cinematic experience with its IMAX like display. The 6″ flexible display pushes a HD 720p resolution and internally it runs on 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Juicing up the G Flex is a flexible 3,500mAh battery and the back surface is protected with its very own “Self Healing” feature. LG has released a video showing how Self Healing works with a machine simulating scratches consistently. Fast forward a couple of minutes later, you can see how the scratches vanishes without a trace.

LG has mentioned that they are in the midst of making the G Flex available internationally but without mentioning any dates. If you fancy a curved smart phone right now, the grey import Samsung Galaxy Round is currently sold in Malaysia for RM3,399.

Watch the LG G Flex Self Healing video after the break along with their teaser launch video.
