Maxis partners with Spotify offering unlimited music downloads at RM10/month

Spotify is a unlimited music service which costs RM14.90/month for a premium account that lets you access ad-free music and take them anywhere on any mobile device. Now Maxis is offering an interesting Spotify package to its subscribers. For just RM10/month, you can get a Spotify premium subscription and additional 150MB Internet Data in a single package.

The minimum commitment is 3 months, so you will be initially charged RM30 upfront and then RM10/month on the 4th month onward. For the additional 150MB data, according to its FAQ it will be renewed monthly after 3 months. This means you will only get 150MB for the first 3 months duration.

To activate, visit http://m.maxis.com.my/spotify on your mobile device using Maxis 3G/4G connection (without WiFi switched on) and follow the instructions. If you are an existing Spotify Premium account user, you would need to cancel and wait until your premium service is expired before you can activate the RM10/month subscription through Maxis. It is available to both Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink subscribers and the promotion is valid until 28th February 2014.
