ASUS PadFone Infinity

The ASUS PadFone Infinity which is a convergence of Tablet & Smart Phone is finally coming to Malaysia. ASUS Malaysia has mentioned on its Facebook page that it will available locally by end of September. Earlier on, the PadFone Infinity was initially priced at 999 Euros (Estimated RM4,000 at that time) but ASUS Malaysia has priced it more sensibly at RM2,699 for the 32GB version with the accompanying station tablet.

The PadFone Infinity consist of 2 devices with the smart phone being the heart of its integration. The phone comes with a 5″ Super IPS+ display that does Full HD resolution and runs on a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and has 32GB of storage. It is quite a big leap from its original PadFone.

Meanwhile, the station tablet base retains the same 10.1″ screen size but this time it pushes a higher 1920×1200 resolution. For imaging, it comes with a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 5 elements lens and over at the front there’s a 2MP camera. The smart phone unit is juiced up with a 2,400mAh battery while the station tablet has 5,000mAh. The benefit of having such solution is that switching between tablet and smart phone is rather seamless as everything runs off the smart phone.
