Sony Mobile wasted no time and has officially launched the Xperia Z1 in Malaysia right after its global announcement. The Xperia Z1 aka “Honami” boast the best of Sony with a 5.0″ Full HD Triluminos display, top notch 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and a large 20.7MP camera that’s mated with a 1/2.3″ Exmor RS Sensor and Sony’s very own G Lens.

From the event, Sony Mobile Malaysia has indicated that the Xperia Z1 will be made available on the first week of October while the rest of the accessories will be coming in later in mid-October. Interestingly, the Galaxy Note 3 which was announced early this morning is expected to launch locally on 25th of September.
