Ultra slim 6.2mm Huawei Ascend P6 launch happening next week

The world’s Thinnest smart phone at 6.18mm will be heading to Malaysia with the Huawei Ascend P6 media launch happening next Thursday. This is surprisingly quick as the device was globally announced just a month ago.

To recap on the specs, the Huawei Ascend P6 comes with an Huawei’s self developed K3V2 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 2,000mAh battery and 8GB of storage which is expandable with microSD. Over at the front, it comes with a 4.7″ display that does a decent 1280×720 resolution and it is toughen with Gorilla Glass.

In the camera department, the Ascend P6 packs a 8MP back-lit sensor with f/2.0 lens while over at the front it comes with a rather high 5MP camera. Overall, it weighs a rather light 120grams.

In terms of pricing, Lowyat’s online store has indicated that the ultra slim Ascend P6 will be priced at RM1,399. That’s pretty decent for quad-core device in a sleek and thin profile.
