U Mobile Introduces Convenient Internet Share Plan

One user, multiple devices, that’s pretty much a given nowadays. And those devices are going to need to connect to the internet. Usually people would sniff out free WiFi hotspots or some might tether their devices with a smartphone or a MiFi. Some would even get a dedicated SIM for each device. But as you would imagine, a dedicated SIM for each device is going to be an expensive proposition.

It’s a good thing then that U Mobile came up with a new plan that allows you have up to 3 SIM cards under the one plan. It’s called the Internet Share Plan and for RM68/month you get two SIM cards (additional third card costs RM10), 3GB of data and 60 minutes of talk time to share across the SIM cards.

This is a convenient alternative for users and families who have multiple devices that each require a SIM card but don’t want to foot additional monthly bills — provided that these people are very light data users, because 3GB across three devices is not going to last your very long but on the flipside, you have the flexibility of purchasing more data as and when you need it. Though, at RM10 for 1.5GB for a Booster Plan that will last you only three days, purchasing additional data can get expensive.
