BlackBerry R10: Affordable QWERTY device spotted

If the new BlackBerry Q10 is too much to pay for the average BlackBerry user, here’s a cheaper model which is expected to be called R10. The device shown above comes with a BlackBerry Curve like keyboard which indicates that its targeted at a more youthful and mid-range price segment. The R10 would also be another touch and type device, utilising the new BlackBerry 10 gestures to navigate around.

According to the source, the the device feels a bit plasticky and it is slated to be launched in Q3 this year. From the leaked photo, there will be red and white versions available. So far there’s no word on the specs but it will definitely be a notch down from the BlackBerry Q10 which is priced at RM2,388.
