DiGi has commenced its pre-order of the Sony Xperia Z where you can secure a unit before its official availability this Friday, 15th March 2013. The Xperia Z which retails at RM2,199 is offered as low as RM1,029 with DG’s new Smart Plans.

There are 3 contract plans being offered and it is tied with only 24 months contract duration. The bundled pricing of the Xperia Z as follows:

DG Smart Plan 58 (24 months) – RM1,789*
DG Smart Plan 88 (24 months) – RM1,549*
DG Smart Special 148 (24 months) – RM1,029

When it comes to the actual device price, both Smart Plan 58 and 88 plans are actually offering it at RM2,029. The “effective” phone pricing shown above is after its monthly rebates of RM10 on the Smart Plan 58 and RM20 on Smart Plan 88. The plan with the lowest device price is Smart Special at RM1,029 but it requires advance payment of RM1,000 during sign up. For existing DiGi subscribers that have been active for 12 months, the zero advance payment waiver applies.

On top of that, DiGi is also throwing in a free Sony Wireless speaker (SRS-BTV5) while stocks last. The speaker that’s worth RM169 is activated by NFC and you can get more details here.

In terms of colours, only the white and black versions are being offered. For more information, head over to DiGi’s Online Store.
