BlackBerry’s celebrity Global Creative Director, Alicia Keys’ credibility is in doubt as a Tweet from her account surfaced indicating that it was posted from an iPhone.
The Tweet — “Started from the bottom now were here!” — has since been deleted, and the superstar is on the defense saying that she didn’t post the tweet rather, it was the work of crafty hackers gaining access to her account. We’ll may never know the truth but hackers have often been a convenient scapegoat for such high-profile celebrity Twitter slip-ups. We’re more inclined to think that Alicia Keys is still hanging on her iPhone despite saying otherwise at the BlackBerry 10 launch in late January. What do you think?
More importantly, has the appointment of high-profile celebrities influenced your perception of a brand? To us, it makes no difference at all.
