ZTE has unveiled its flagship device at CES with its Grand S. Going head on with high end rivals, the Grand S also comes with a Full HD 5″ display that pushes 1920×1080 pixels resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro processor which is running at a higher 1.7GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage which is expandable with micro SD at the sides. You’ll also get a 13MP shooter at the back and a front facing 2MP camera which both can shoot 1080p HD videos.
The key difference of course is its super slim profile of just 6.9mm thick which is the slimmest of the lot. In terms of connectivity there’s also 4G LTE but no mention of what bands it supports. The only downside is its non-removable 1,780mAh battery which is rather small for a smart phone in this class.
Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and it is expected to debut in China first in the first quarter. There’s no mention of pricing as well as international availability dates at the moment.
Head after the break for a hands-on video and photos from Android Central.
