The Acer Iconia Tab A701 tablet which comes with 10.1″ full HD (1920×1200) display is now offered for bundling with U Mobile Broadband plans. The Iconia Tab A701 can be yours from as low RM979 with 24 months broadband bundling of MB128 which comes with 20GB for RM128/month. If that’s too much, there’s an alternative bundling at RM1,179 with MB68 plan that comes with 5GB for RM68/month.
All contract are tied with 24 months duration and you would need to pay 6 months advance subscription for the broadband plan during sign up. U Mobile is also offering Credit Card Easy Payment Plan for 12 months period as well.
To recap on the specs, the Iconia Tab A701 which comes with 3G HSPA+ support up to 21Mbps runs on 1.3GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and is powered with a huge 9,800mAh battery.
The Iconia Tab A701 doesn’t run short with expansion ports as it come with micro SD slot, micro HDMI and micro USB port. It comes with a main 5MP camera and a front facing 2MP shooter. Outright, the Iconia Tab A701 retails for RM1,699 for 3G version while the WiFi only A700 is priced at RM1,499.
