The 5.5″ Samsung Galaxy Note II which will be available here soon brings a host of new features on top of what’s being offered on the Galaxy S III. Among the new features include AirView, Smart Rotation and Multi-View.
After the Multi-View feature was demonstrated, some are wondering if this is a Korean market specific feature as units sold in the UK didn’t come with it. Now Samsung has finally released an update which supposedly enables Multi-View for the rest of the world. Apparently Galaxy Note II units in France has already received an update as shown above. To get a better idea how Multi-View works, check out the demonstration here.
To recap on the specs, the Galaxy Note II offers a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM and a massive 3,100mAh battery. Compared to the original Galaxy Note, the new version has a smaller width by 3% and thinner by 2.5%. Do check out the spec comparison with today’s latest offering including the iPhone 5 here.
The Galaxy Note II will be launched in Malaysia on 11th October with availability expected the following week. Hopefully Malaysian units will get the update by then.
