UNCONFIRMED: Galaxy Note II running on Jelly Bean out of the box

IFA 2012 is starting tomorrow in Berlin where the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to make an appearance. With less than 48 hours to go, the phone specs had purported leaked earlier by a Korean newspaper.

Based on the details obtained, it is reported that the Galaxy Note II will be running on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Other details include a 5.5″ screen with 1280×720 resolution, 16GB/32GB storage options and a 8MP rear camera. Processor is said to be running on 1.4GHz quad core Exynos 4412 which is similar to the Galaxy S III.

While having the latest Android OS version is commendable, the hardware is almost similar to the Galaxy S III. We would have expected a slight notch upwards for the Galaxy Note II in terms of processor and display pixel density.
