Acer Iconia Tab A700 with full HD display now available

The Acer Iconia Tab A700 and A701 is now available in Malaysia at RM1,499 & RM1,699 respectively. The pricing was revealed at online retailer IMCC network.

Announced at CES 2012, both tablets runs on Nvidia’s Quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of on board storage. The biggest highlight is the 10.1″ display that pushes 1920×1200 full HD resolution. In terms of connectivity, it comes with micro-HDMI, micro USB as well as microSD slot.

The A700 is a WiFi only device while the A701 comes with extra 3G connectivity. Out of the box, it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. With a massive 9,800mAh battery, the tablets weigh 665 grams and has a thickness of 11mm. Overall, they are a notch higher than the earlier A510 which also runs on Quad-core Tegra 3 but comes with a standard 1280×800 display.
