Updated: Brightstar revises pricing for the RAZR MAXX to RM1,688

The wait is over, the RAZR MAXX goes on sale in Malaysia today.

Available from Brightstar, the Motorola RAZR MAXX retails for RM1,788 outright. The RAZR MAXX adds a whopping 3,300mAh battery to everything that’s good about the Motorola RAZR – 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced 960×540 resolution (about 256ppi) display with Gorilla Glass. 1.2GHz dual-core TI OMAP4430 processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. 8MP rear camera with 1080p video and a 1.3MP front camera with 720p video.

The 3,300mAh battery gives the RAZR MAXX 21 hours of talktime and 15 hours of continuous video playback or two and half days of continuous music playback. To accommodate the battery, the RAZR MAXX is slightly thicker at 8.99mm compared to the RAZR’s svelte 7.1mm body.

With the large battery, a decent screen, spectacular call quality and snappy performance wrapped in that sleek RAZR design and sexy Kevlar backplate, the RAZR MAXX has a lot going for it and very little against and if battery performance is a big deal for you, this device is definitely worth a look, there’s really nothing else in the market.
