Motorola shows off Android 4.0 ICS for RAZR

The sexy Motorola RAZR is expected to receive its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update by Q2 2012. While it has yet to be rolled out, Motorola has released several videos to get you prepared for the latest changes that come with its ICS update.

First thing you’ll notice is the unlock screen which now has been improved with shortcut access to messaging, camera and phone. This matches the earlier leaked screenshots of a Motorola RAZR running Android 4.0.4. Browsing for apps and the notification bar is stock standard which Motorola claims the new battery indicator gives better reading for battery levels.

In the camera department, they have made some enhancements which includes a time lapse mode. It now also allows you to take pictures while recording a video, just like the HTC One X and the Galaxy S III. As expected, Face Unlock is included as well. Overall the update looks good and hopefully they roll it out to Malaysian users by next month.

Head after the jump for the videos or head to Droid Life for the full list.
