ASUS Malaysia has announced via its Facebook page that the ASUS Transformer Pad will be coming to Malaysia sometime in May. The Transformer Pad is basically the Transformer Pad 300 which was announced at MWC 2012 that features Transformer Prime specs at a lower price point.

It runs on quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 4-Plus-1 processor with 12-core GPU. It retains the similar 10.1″ 1280×800 display, 8MP f/2.2 backlit camera and comes with a keyboard dock that doubles up as a battery pack with USB and SD card slots. As expected, it runs on the latest Android 4.0 OS. The Transformer Pad comes in 3 colours – Blue, White & Red.

No details of the pricing at this point but it should be relatively cheaper than its high end Transformer Prime that’s priced at RM2,199. Head after the break for the promo video.
