Before you start asking, “where do I camp out?”, the pre-orders for the new iPhone is happening in Germany.
A report coming from Bloomberg revealed that Germany’s Deutsche Telekom has already opened pre-orders for the new iPhone right now. This is highly irregular considering the fact that no confirmed information, including its launch date and event official name of the device has been announced by Apple.
If anything, this is a very clear indication that the launch of the next generation iPhone is very close (and by close we mean within these two months).
In addition, trusted tech blog, BGR, says invitations to a special media event at which Apple will unveil the new phones are expected to be issued within this week.
We’re not expecting to get one anytime soon.
Anyway…if you’re wondering, iPhones from Germany are not SIM-locked and can be purchased outright (i.e. without a term contract), so if you have a friend in Germany, you might be in luck.
