Samsung denies that it gave seal of approval for Anymode’s Smart Case

Remember the Anymode Smart Case that looked almost identical to Apple’s Smart Cover? Well it turns out that Samsung didn’t give the accessory “Designed for Samsung Mobile” seal of approval.

In a blog post, Samsung says that they are working with Anymode to address the oversight as to how the certification was attached to the look-alike cover designed specifically for the Galaxy Tab 10.1. The blog post also states that the “product has never been sold” and “Samsung Electronics reviews and approves all accessories produced by partners.”

Interesting.
