Nokia’s new range of Symbian^3 devices with AMOLED screen offers an always on display clock during standby mode. Power consumption is very minimal as AMOLED screens are very efficient with unused pixels being completely switched off. So is there a way to customise this screen further?
Nokia Beta Labs has released a Nokia Screen which gives you more standby screen styles and options to stand out from the crowd. There are 8 styles to choose from with a 9th screen option which works as a subtle bedside clock that can be activated at your desired time.
To download, head to Nokia Beta Labs page here. Only applicable for Symbian^3 devices such as Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7.
Check out the demo video after the break.
