Terrible mobile service operator gets its own medicine

When it comes to bad customer service, we Malaysians think we always get the bulk of the global share of crap from our local telcos. While that may be true, Belgian operator Mobistar is a shinning star (pun intended) of bad customer service in the country.

So much so that it had inspired a comedy show to play an elaborate prank on the telco giving Mobistar a dose of their very own bad customer service medicine. The elaborate prank involves the pranksters hidding themselves in a steel container. The said container was then dropped directly in front of the gates of a large Mobistar office at 5AM.

The container had a prominent customer service number printed on the side of it — a number which rang the pranksters inside the container. Security personnel of the Mobistar office promptly called the number to get the container removed before 2,000 Mobistar employees reported for work and found the parking lot blocked off.

See what happens when the pranksters took the call and proceeded to put the Mobistar employees through customer service phone hell right after the jump — it’s hilarious!
