VIDEO: Poor dude’s laptop got stolen from right under his nose

It’s a scenario we’re always in. Chilling at a coffee joint with friends with our laptop bags on the floor, close to us but out of sight. You might think that because your laptop bag is close to you it is safe. No one could possibly get to it and steal laptop within from right under your nose right? Especially when you’re with your friends in a public place where you are in plain view of virtually everyone.

Well think again.

Head on over to after the jump to see what manners and ways a thief can get at your laptop. You’ll be surprised how this crook got away with it.

If you need to know the stolen item was an Apple MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M + 9600M GT with 512MB, 15-inch). A little dated yes, but if you think about the data and the amount of work and personal stuff that’s in there, a lost computer is worth so much more than the sum of its parts.
