Download the 10 billionth app and you could win a US$10k iTunes Gift Card

Apple is quickly reaching an epic milestone in its App Store. As of today, nearly 10 billion apps have been downloaded from the App Store worldwide. And to celebrate this monumental achievement, Apple is giving away one single US$10,000 iTunes Gift Card. All you need to do is be the lucky downloader to download an app at the right time.

Because we have an official App Store right here in Malaysia, Malaysians qualify for the sweepstakes and here’s the best part, you don’t even have to download or purchase an app. All you have to do is submit an entry form and if your entry coincides with the download of the 10 billionth app, you win.

US$10,000 iTunes credit is like a lifetime supply of apps to us. If on average your app purchase is US$0.99, then that’s 10,000 apps on your iDevice. By any account, that is a lot of apps.
