Awesome iPhone dock tracks your movement. Needs donations to go from concept to production

Sometimes a great idea just needs enough people to believe in it for it to become real, and this is one of those great ideas.

The team at Satarii has a working prototype concept of a sensor enabled motorized dock that pivots on its horizontal plane to follow your movement (up to 180-degrees), and it looks rather impressive considering that its a prototype.

But for the dock to go from prototype to production stage Satarii needs US$20k and that money comes from supporters who sponsor the project. The current tally stands close to US$16,000 with a little over a month before that call for funding ends. At the rate that this dock is garnering attention there’s no doubt that the project will raise enough funding but still the additional support is more than welcome.

So head on over to Satarii’s IndieGoGo page to find out more about the project.

But before that, take a look a Satarii’s pitch video right after the jump.
