Google Translate for Android has just received a new update after a year since launch. The interface offers a cleaner look and there are more language options including Malay, Chinese and other Asian languages.
Since translation is commonly required for communication, the new version also does SMS translation which allows you to translate incoming messages easily. There’s also a new conversation mode which allows you to speak by voice and the app will read out the translated message back to you. Perfect for travelling to foreign land but as usual, there’s always some margin of error when it comes to voice to text recognition.
