Samsung launching an Android device on November 8

Samsung US has issued a media invite stating that they will be launching something Android-based this November 8.

Not a lot of people know what this new Android device is going to be but rumours are rife that it will be running Gingerbread (Android 2.3) and that it could also be the successor to the Nexus One.

We’re taking this with a grain of salt as Google has mentioned earlier that the Nexus One is a prove of concept and that there will not be a successor.

Also, it was earlier rumoured that Motorola is working with Google on a Nexus Two project but nothing transpired from that and it is safe to assume that the Motorola-Google project has been scraped.

Although we are all fans of the Nexus One here at SoyaCincau.com, the information currently available says to us that a successor to the Google phone is very unlikely. We’ll keep a close eye on the developments as we move closer to November 8 and will continue to update you information as we get them.
