Maxis still interested to offer BlackBerry Torch

This is interesting. When Celcom announces registration of interest for the BlackBerry Torch, we noticed that Maxis quietly hides the device from its website. We thought it was weird for Maxis to pull out but looks like they have re-ignited their interest to offer the BlackBerry Torch by prominently displaying it on the front page.

The registration form is refreshed too. Not wanting to lose out to Celcom‘s goodies for first 100 sign ups, Maxis is throwing in a Bluetooth heatset worth RM250 for the first 500 to sign up and purchase the device. There’s no mention of the brand of the headset and it says while stocks last. We assume they should have 500 units ready and didn’t plucked the number 500 from the sky.

Interested? Head onto Maxis BlackBerry page now.
