DiGi has just opened registration of interest for both the HTC Aria and BlackBerry Curve 9300.
We’re not sure why DiGi would want to do an ROI for the Curve 3G as Celcom has already started selling the device, so it’s not really a big deal. And as expected, no prices, plans or launch data has been revealed but you can expect things to get really interesting in the following weeks and months.
The HTC Aria is priced at RM1,799 outright, factor in a 12-month contract the Aria would probably cost RM1,299 thereabouts. Interestingly the highlights of the Aria includes 3.2in TFT display, that means AMOLED similar to the Legend is out of the question. Can we expect the Aria to come with Super LCD instead? We’ll keep you posted on findings.
Already, the iPhone 4 is expected to come to Malaysia towards the end of September and then we have the Nokia N8 slated for early October release, let’s not forget that Maxis has opened ROI for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and Curve 9300 along with the as well — it’s going to be a smartphone galore as we approach the final quarter of 2010.
Head to DiGi if you’re interested to register for the HTC Aria or BlackBerry Curve 3G.
