You all remember the HTC Desire Z/ T-Mobile G2 right? If you’ve forgotten, the Desire Z will be one of the two new Android that HTC will launch in this September 15. Initial specs include a 3.7in screen with 800x480px resolution, Android 2.2 and a full QWERTY keyboard with a funky looking folding mechanism.

Earlier, it was reportedly the the Desire Z will be powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. As it turns out the Desire Z will run a 800MHz processor. Specifically the Desire Z will run a Qualcomm MSM7230 with 512MB RAM and an Adreno 205 GPU.

Despite the “slower” processor clock speed on the Desire Z, you can expect its performance to be better if not at least on par with the original Desire. Of the bat, you can definitely expect a much better graphics performance on account of the fact the unlike the Snapdragon on the original Desire, the Desire Z will have a dedicated GPU to take the load off.

We can’t wait to get our hands on this baby!
