Resistance is futile: iPad app make yours look like Captain Picard’s PADD

Got an iPad? Yeah you’re pretty cool, whipping that out at Starbucks and casually reading with a side of latte.

This app is going to make you 1000 times cooler.

It’s called “Captain’s Log” and it’ll skin your iPad to look like Captain Jean Luc Picard‘s very own touch screen tablet on the USS Enterprise called a PADD – Personal Access Display Device.

By the looks of it, the app will probably bring down your iPad’s functionality a notch as your controls are limited to email, Twitter, Facebook and probably not much else but man, is it cool.
