iPad’s latest ad says it’s better than you

Check out the latest iPad ad. If you’ve been watching loads of Apple ads, you’ll notice that this one is straight up in your face. It’s downright condescending even.

The ad opens with a question: “What is iPad?”, then the voice over goes on and on about how awesome the iPad is.

“iPad is thin, iPad is beautiful. iPad goes anywhere and lasts all day…” bla bla bluergh!

We don’t like the tone and we’re not too comfortable with the way Apple’s pitching the iPad.

We’ve used it and yes, its awesome but Apple didn’t have to go make an ad to state the obvious. Apple products are beyond this heavy handed marketing. Apple ads are more subtle, more inteligent, more delectable, more memorable and something you’d want to watch.

This one is not.

We find it to be downright disgusting, too boastful and in your face. Shame on you Apple, shame on you too Jobs.

Check out the video after the jump.
