Apple iPad International release on May 28 with 9 Countries

More than a month since its launched, Apple is releasing the iPad for international release on May 28th with 9 countries. Sadly Malaysia isn’t one of them.

The 9 countries that will be getting are:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • UK

According to Apple, the next 9 countries set to International release would be:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Hong Kong
  • Ireland
  • Luxembourg
  • Mexico
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore

Pricing will be announced at a later date and we are still wondering when is Malaysia scheduled for Malaysia release.

Despite that, we are still seeing a steady number of iPad users in Malaysia which bought through grey market/proxy from the US.
