Authorised Apple Reseller, Mac City, has announced that it’s cancelling its stock clearance sale event which is supposed to take place at their 1Utama outlet. The sale was scheduled to start tomorrow (20th January) exclusively for Onecard members.

According to Mac City’s Facebook post, they decided to cancel the event after careful reconsideration of the safety of the public and staff. The reseller said that it will shift its clearance sales online and they will provide more details at a later time.

Malaysia has been recording over 3,000 new cases daily for the past 6 days with Selangor having the most with over 1,000 new cases per day. The government has just declared movement control order (MCO) throughout Malaysia except for Sarawak due to the rising number of new cases. During the MCO, interstate and district travel is not allowed and you are only permitted to travel within a 10km radius from home to buy essentials.

As revealed earlier, Mac City is offering ex-demo and opened box units at low prices. Some of the notable deals including an ex-demo MacBook Air and MacBook Pro from as low as RM999 each. The sale also offers iPhone X for RM1,199 and you can also get an iPhone 7 or iPhone 6s Plus for less than RM500.
