TouchWiz, you’d either love it or hate it. But if you were judgemental in the past, you’d be pleased to know that Samsung has skimmed down their skin to make it more stock. As of recently, their current generation of devices are still on Lollipop, to the point of them getting sued in Netherlands for not releasing regular updates.
Some competitors have already updated their current lineup but if this leaked schedule is true. Samsung users can expect their devices to be updated by April of 2016.
If you own a Galaxy S5, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, Note edge, Note 4 or Note5 consider yourself lucky.

After some beta testers have shown proof of their smartphones’ running the latest version of Android and it looks promising so far. These updates are apparently ready to go and have been approved by the South Korean manufacturer.
There is no information that states if this update will be a full global one or be rolled up by region. If Sammy does indeed stick to these dates, it’ll probably make them one of the latter bunch to release a software update for their devices. HTC, honor, LG and Moto(rola) have all done it.
We’ll have to wait for February to see if this rumoured list holds any weight. But by then we’re sure that people would be waiting to hear about the Galaxy S7 series rather than a Marshmallow update.
