Acer is still the underdog when it comes to smart phones and they are continuing to focus on the affordable segment for growth. Ahead of CES 2015, Acer has announced their Liquid Z410, a new entry level device that delivers 64-bit processing and 4G LTE for the masses.

It gets a modest 4.5″ qHD (960×540) display that pushes a pixel density of 245 ppi and it runs on a MediaTek MT6732 processor with ARM Mali-T760 GPU. There’s 5MP at the back and selfies are handled by its 2MP front shooter. For multimedia playback, the Liquid Z410 also packs a front facing stereo speaker and you can launch your favourite apps easily by drawing preset gestures on the display while locked, similar to OPPO’s gesture controls.

According the press release, the Liquid Z410 will be available first in Europe, Middle East and Africa region at €129 which is about RM545 when converted directly. Also shown at CES 2015 is their updated Liquid Jade S that runs on a newer 64-bit MediaTek MT6752M with 4G LTE support.
