Anker has officially introduced its latest open-ear clip-on earbuds to the Malaysian market: the Soundcore AeroClip 2.
Open-ear earbuds have gained popularity as they offer greater comfort while providing users with situational awareness. However, the downside is that most of these earbuds don’t offer excellent microphone quality, especially in noisy environments.
To overcome this challenge, the AeroClip 2 features four high-SNR MEMS microphones with two Voice Pickup Units (VPUs) to detect mechanical vibrations directly from the wearer’s vocal cords. Combined with Anker’s on-device Thus AI chip, the system processes both airborne and physical vibration signals in real time to isolate your voice. As a result, Anker claims that you can still be heard loud and clear while speaking naturally even in 80+ dB environments.
This capability earned the AeroClip 2 a Guinness World Record for achieving the highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for open-ear clip-on earbuds.
Anker Soundcore AeroClip 2 pricing and availability

The Anker Soundcore AeroClip 2 retails in Malaysia for RM729. You can choose from four colourways: Midnight Black, Burgundy Red, Cloud White, and Mist Blue.
In terms of availability, the earbuds can be purchased online through official Anker storefronts on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Meanwhile, if you prefer offline retail, you can find them at Anker brand stores, including locations at Anker IOI City Mall, Anker Damansara, and the Sunway Pyramid outlet.
Anker Soundcore AeroClip 2 specs and features

The AeroClip 2 features a clip-on form factor built around a Golden-Fit titanium wire housed inside a flexible silicone C-bridge.
To ensure long-term wearing comfort without slipping, Anker calibrated the clamping force using a human factors database containing over 2,000 3D ear scans. For active users, the earbuds carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, providing protection against sweat and rainy conditions.
The AeroClip 2 also has built-in storage, allowing you to listen to music without pairing with a smartphone.
Acoustically, the AeroClip 2 relies on a 12mm dual-magnetic, high-excursion driver with an aerospace-grade diaphragm, doubling low-frequency sound pressure energy compared to the original AeroClip.
On the software side, it supports the high-bitrate LDAC codec, carries Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification, and uses HearID 5.0 to generate personalised EQ profiles based on in-app hearing tests. For calling and voice processing, the onboard AI chip supports “Whisper Mode”. This keeps speech intelligible in background noise exceeding 80 dB, as well as real-time AI-assisted translation.
The AeroClip 2 delivers up to 8 hours of standalone audio playback on a single charge, extending to 32 hours total when factoring in the charging case. A quick 10-minute fast charge provides up to 4 hours of listening time, and the charging case supports both USB-C and Qi wireless charging.
