BYD Malaysia has just announced the BYD Sealion 7 in Hibiscus Red.
Released as a Malaysia Day Special Edition, this striking red colour electric SUV is limited to just 16 units.
This comes after a red Sealion 7 was spotted in Kuala Lumpur, which at the time was not among the listed colours for the refreshed 2026 model.
BYD Sealion 7 Hibiscus Red Pricing and Availability
The BYD Sealion 7 Hibiscus Red is offered exclusively in the Performance AWD variant.
It is currently priced at RM197,800 under BYD’s Year End Deal, which offers a RM6,000 discount from its recommended retail price of RM203,800.
Only 16 units are available nationwide and bookings can be made through authorised BYD showrooms.
BYD Sealion 7 Performance Specs Recap
The Hibiscus Red edition retains the same specs of the refreshed 2026 BYD Sealion 7 Performance which comes with a larger 800V battery and faster DC charging.
Its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup produces a combined 390kW (523hp) and 690Nm of torque, offering a 0-100km/h time of 4.5 seconds.
For the 2026 model year, the Performance variant gets a larger 91.39kWh Blade LFP battery and a claimed driving range of 600km on the NEDC cycle (estimated 550km WLTP).
With an 800V architecture, it supports DC fast charging up to 230kW, while AC charging is rated at up to 11kW.
