If you’re driving your EV to Penang, Gentari is now offering a 15% discount on EV charging at selected locations across the state for the next three months.

The “Penang Lagi!” campaign runs from 28 August to 30 November 2026 and is open to all registered Gentari Go users. The discount is available at 21 participating charging locations in Penang, covering both the island and mainland.

The 15% discount can be used for an unlimited number of charging sessions throughout the campaign period.

How to get 15% off for EV Charging in Penang with Gentari Go

To enjoy the discount, users must start their charging session through the Gentari Go app at one of the participating locations.

The 15% discount should be applied automatically before the charger is activated. If it isn’t applied automatically, users can enter the promo code PENANG15 before starting their charging session on the Gentari Go app.

Take note that there’s a minimum spend of RM20 per charging session to qualify for the 15% discount.

Gentari’s DC Chargers including those deployed in partnership with MBPP are typically priced at RM1.60 per kWh. With the discount, you can enjoy a cheaper rate of RM1.36 per kWh.

The promotion can’t be stacked with other promotions, offers or subscriptions. If you have an active Gentari subscription plan, your subscription discount will take precedence over the Penang Lagi! discount.
