Altel, a telco under subsidiary Puncak Semangat has launched a bold campaign to create a mobile plan that you really want. They have just kicked off a new site called Altelnativ.my where they want to hear your grouses of your current provider so that they can come out with a solution to ease your pain.
At the moment, the site is nothing but a simple questionnaire of your current telco experience but they will be introducing a forum soon. Altelnativ acts as a sharing platform and they are giving incentives for active forum members that contribute. Is this going to be all talk? or is Altel actually taking action to create probably the first crowd source mobile plan in Malaysia? We’ll see if this materialises when the forum is up.
