Besides its largest EV charging site located in Penang, TNB Electron has also turned on another new EV charger located in Johor.
The charge point operator has turned on a 120kW DC Charger at a McDonald’s Drive Thru in Seri Austin, Johor Bahru. This is a great spot to charge up while you grab a quick bite.
As part of its opening, TNB Electron is offering complimentary charging for a limited time.
For this McDonald’s Seri Austin DT location, TNB Electron has deployed a standalone 120kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. As usual, the charge is priced at RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate the charger without using any app.
Just tap and pay using your credit or debit card at the provided JuiceUP card terminal.
As part of its operational testing period, TNB Electron offers free EV charging for one day only at the new location.
You can charge your EV for free on Saturday, 15th August 2026 from 12:00am to 11:59pm.
