TNB Electron has just turned on its new EV charging location at Yard TNB Bukit Emas in Senawang.

This EV charging location not only serves the Senawang area but it also doubles as an alternative stop for EV owners travelling between Kuala Lumpur and Melaka, as it is located just 1.8km away from Senawang Toll Plaza.

Due to its close proximity to the North-South Expressway, it serves as an alternative off-highway EV charging stop as the charger is about 11km away from Senawang Lay-by (Northbound and Southbound) EV chargers which rely on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

As part of its opening promo, EV owners can enjoy free charging for today only.

For this location, TNB Electron has deployed a 240kW TELD DC Charging solution with 4x CCS2 nozzles. The charger is priced at RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate them by tapping your credit or debit card at the JuiceUP card terminal.

Like other similar TNB Electron locations, take note that each nozzle can push up to 250A. This means a 400V EV can only get up to a maximum of 100kW, while an 800V EV can get up to a maximum of 200kW.

As part of its opening day offer on 17th July 2026, you can charge at this location for free as part of TNB’s operational testing period from 8:00am to 11:59pm.

The Yard TNB Bukit Emas, Senawang location is open to the public, 24/7.
