Hotlink has enhanced its Travel SIM offering which lets you stay connected in 4 countries on a single SIM card.

The new Hotlink 5G Travel SIM now comes in a shorter 7-day option for RM25 which offers “unlimited” internet in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

The new Travel SIM offering now comes with uncapped 5G speeds, unlimited calls in Malaysia and it supports hotspot usage as well.

For RM25 for 7 days, you get “unlimited” internet in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia with uncapped 5G speeds. However, there’s a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 40GB, which is effectively an average of 5.7GB per day. Once your FUP is used up, you can still get connected but speeds are throttled down.

The plan also offers unlimited calls within Malaysia.

If that’s not enough, the next option is the RM35 for 15 days plan, which also has the same benefits but you get a higher 100GB of FUP. That’s about an average of 6.67GB per day.

For those planning to travel long term, there’s the RM64 for 30 days option. This plan comes with a higher 400GB FUP (average 13.3GB per day) and Hotlink is also bundling free live sports via Sooka.

Since it is targeted at travelers, the Hotlink 5G Travel SIM starter pack is only sold at selected Maxis Centre locations. Here’s the list:

  • Maxis Centre KLIA 1 & 2
  • Maxis Centre KLCC
  • Maxis Centre NU Sentral
  • Maxis Centre Langkawi International Airport (LIA)
  • Maxis Centre Penang International Airport (PIA)
  • Maxis Centre Suria Sabah
  • Maxis Centre JB-1 Centre Danga Bay
  • Maxis Centre Makhota Parade

The Hotlink 5G Travel SIM is also available on eSIM via the Hotlink app. However, there’s only a single 15-day option which costs RM35.

To get the eSIM, just launch the Hotlink app, tap on “Activate or Get New SIM”, select Get eSIM, Check compatibility and then continue and then select the Hotlink Travel SIM. Identity verification via Mykad and Passport will be required to activate the eSIM.

For more info, you can visit Hotlink’s Travel SIM page.
