Xiaomi has officially introduced the Poco X7 and X7 Pro in Malaysia. These are the sub-brand’s new mid-range smartphones and it is the first Poco smartphones with IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
According to Poco, the Poco X7 series can withstand being submerged in 1.5 metres of still water for up to 30 minutes.
Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro Malaysia Pricing
The Poco X7 is priced from RM1,199 but as usual, there’s also an early bird promo where you can enjoy RM200 off from now until 25th January 2025. Here’s the official Poco X7 pricing in Malaysia:

- 12GB+512GB – RM1,399 (Early bird: RM1,199)
The Poco X7 is now available for purchase with the early bird pricing from the official Poco store on Lazada.
Meanwhile, the Poco X7 Pro is priced from RM1,499 but you can get it from RM1,299 with the early bird offer that’s available from now until 25th January 2025. Here’s the official pricing for the Poco X7 Pro in Malaysia:

Poco X7 Malaysia Specs and Features
The Poco X7 comes with a 6.67″ CrystalRes AMOLED display that pushes 2712×1220 pixels resolution. Despite being the cheaper phone, the X7 features a 3D curved display and it is the first in the Poco series. It boasts up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, it runs on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In the camera department, the rear gets a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP f/1.5 main camera (Sony IMX882) with OIS, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. The device can shoot 4K videos with OIS & EIS stabilisation.
For selfies, it gets a 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera with soft-light ring.
In terms of connectivity, the X7 supports dual 5G SIMs, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, IR Blaster and it also comes with NFC. Besides having IP68 dust and water resistance, the device also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Powering the device is a 5,110mAh battery that supports 45W turbo charging. The 45W charger is included in the box and can fully charge the phone in 52 minutes.

Meanwhile, the Poco X7 Pro comes with a 6.67″ Crystal AMOLED display that pushes 2712×1220 pixels resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. Designed for improved gaming responsiveness, the device boasts 2560Hz instant touch sampling rate with Game Turbo mode on. The device boasts up to 3200nits of peak brightness, 1920Hz PWM Dimming and it comes protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The Poco X7 Pro comes with a more uprated LPDDR5X RAM of up to 12GB and UFS 4.0 storage of up to 512GB.
Despite being the more expensive device, the Poco X7 Pro only comes with a dual-camera setup for the rear which consists of a 50MP f/1.5 main camera (Sony IMX882) with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. The device also supports 4K video recording with OIS and EIS.
Meanwhile, the front of the Poco X7 Pro features a 20MP front camera with soft-ling ring.
In terms of connectivity, it supports Dual 5G SIM, 802.11ax WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, IR Blaster and NFC.
The Poco X7 Pro comes with a large 6,000mAh battery and this is the largest ever in the Poco X-series. However, it is worth pointing out that its closest twin, the Redmi 4 Turbo that’s currently sold in China comes with a larger 6,550mAh battery.
To top up the battery quickly, it supports 90W HyperCharge which can charge from 0-100% in 42 minutes. The 90W charging adapter is included.
Similar to the standard Poco X7, the X7 Pro also comes with dual-speakers and comes with IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
