If you want to stretch your ringgit further, Aeon Bank and Aeon Co are jointly running a “Thursday is better than Friday” campaign where you can earn 4x Aeon Points. The offer is applicable when you shop at selected Aeon outlets every Thursday using your Aeon Bank Debit Card.
The participating stores include Aeon Supermarket, Aeon Departmental Store, Aeon MaxValu Prime, Aeon Big Hypermarket, Aeon Wellness and Daiso by Aeon.
Aeon Bank Debit Card offers 3x Aeon Points for every RM1 spent at Aeon stores on Thursdays
From 7th November until 26th December 2024, Aeon Bank Visa Debit Card-i customers will earn 3x Aeon Points for every RM1 spent at selected Aeon outlets on Thursdays. For other days of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), customers will earn 2x Aeon Points for every RM1 spent at selected Aeon outlets.
Earn extra 1x Aeon Point by showing your Aeon Points barcode
Besides the Debit Card transaction, you can still earn an additional 1x Aeon Points for every RM1 spent by showing your Aeon Points barcode at the cashier or at the self checkout kiosks. You can find the barcode on the home screen of the Aeon Bank app and then swipe the top panel to the left. In total, that’s 4x Aeon Points that you can earn for every RM1 spent at selected Aeon outlets on Thursdays.
For other transactions outside of Aeon, you can still earn 1x Aeon Points for every RM1 spent at participating merchants and retail outlets both in-store or online using your Aeon Bank Debit Card.

How to convert Aeon Points into cash in Aeon Bank app?
Once you’ve accumulated your Aeon Points, you can convert them to cash instantly via the Aeon Bank App. Just tap on the “Rewards” button on the home screen, and then tap on Redeem Now.
The minimum points for redemption is 200 points, which is equivalent to RM1. So, if you have 10,000 points, that’s worth RM50, while 100,000 points is worth RM500.
In case you missed it, Aeon Bank currently offers a profit rate of 0.88% p.a. for Savings Account and a profit rate of 3.00% p.a. for Savings Pots until 31st December 2024.
In addition, the Islamic digital bank is also waiving its 1% service fee for overseas transactions, and a RM5 processing fee discount (Usual Fee: RM10) for ATM withdrawals overseas.
Aeon Bank is still running a referral programme where Aeon Bank users can earn 1,800 Aeon Points (worth RM9) for successful referrals.
