Xiaomi Malaysia has just announced the Redmi Pad Pro 5G which provides a large-screen tablet experience with 5G connectivity for less than RM2,000. Xiaomi is also bundling free accessories and a purchase-with-purchase (PWP) promo for the tablet for a limited time.
Redmi Pad Pro 5G Malaysia Price
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is officially priced at RM1,799 in Malaysia. That’s RM400 more than the Redmi Pad Pro (WiFi-only) with the same 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.

Redmi Pad Pro 5G Malaysia Specs and Features
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a 12.1″ 2.5K (2560×1600 pixels resolution) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of up to 600 nits. Similar to the WiFi-only version, it runs on a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. If you need more storage, it also supports microSD card expansion up to 1.5TB.
Despite having a “dual-camera” bump, the rear only gets a single 8MP main camera while the front comes with an 8MP selfie shooter. Both front and rear cameras can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps.
In terms of audio, the device gets quad stereo speakers and it still comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device supports WiFi 6E with 2×2 MIMO and 160MHz wide bandwidth, Bluetooth 5.3 and Dual 5G SIM support with voice call and messaging functionality.
Besides support for a keyboard, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G also supports the optional Redmi Smart Pen stylus that supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Powering the tablet is a large 10,000mAh battery and it supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G can last up to 14.5 hours of HD video playback on a single charge. The tablet runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi HyperOS skin on top.
