The Redmi Watch 4 is readily available in Malaysia for RM459. However, you are currently able to purchase the fitness-oriented smartwatch at a discounted price of RM379 through Xiaomi’s official stores on Lazada and Shopee.

With two colourways to choose from including Obsidian Black and Silver Gray, this offer is valid until 2 February while stocks last.

Housed within its aluminium alloy frame, one of the smartwatch’s main attractions is its rather sizeable 1.97-inch AMOLED screen which Xiaomi claimed to be the largest ever fitted into a Redmi Watch. The screen also has a maximum brightness level of 600 nits alongside Always-On Display (AOD) capability which was made possible by LTPS technology.

Owners also have access to more than 200 watch faces to match their tastes and moods. They can also swap the watch strap easily, thanks to the watch’s quick-release mechanism.

Redmi Watch 4 has also been fitted with a stainless steel rotating crown that users can utilise to manoeuvre through its interface. It also has been equipped with a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass, and ambient light sensor.

Speaking about sensors, the Redmi Watch 4 has built-in support for five satellite positioning systems including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS. What this means is that you can use the watch to track your runs without the need to link the watch to your phone’s GPS.

The new watch can track more than 150 types of sports with 18 of them being aquatic sports which possess no problem to the Redmi Watch 4 since it comes with a 5ATM water resistance rating. Aside from sports tracking, it is also capable of performing all-day heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring as well as stress and sleep tracking.

Rounding up the general specs of the new Redmi Watch 4 is its 470mAh battery which provides the smartwatch with an average battery life of 20 days or 10 days if you activate the AOD mode. You can even further extend the wearable’s battery life up to 30 days through its long battery mode.
