After seeing the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE design leaked a few weeks ago, we have confirmation on the official announcement for the new model. Based on social media, we have just a couple of days to go before the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is officially launched – in India at least.

The Samsung India account on X, formerly known as Twitter, shared a teaser image of three camera sensors with the tagline “The New Epic, coming soon.” The post was followed by another with the caption “New Galaxy Tab coming soon.” Additionally, the headline of the account clearly states the launch date – set for 4 October 2023.

From the leaks we have seen so far, the phone will be available in at least five colours, which will be Phantom Black, Cream, Green, Lavender, Graphite, and Lime.

Other notable features include a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 256GB of internal storage.

Also based on reports, we may see a dual SKU situation as the phone is reported to ship with either an Exynos 2200 or the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

The cameras on the back will be a true triple set-up, with a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor – no silly triple setup with macro or depth sensor cameras. Selfies will be serviced by the front 10MP punch-hole camera.

Also expected to join the Galaxy S23 FE is a new Galaxy Tab FE model, as well as new Galaxy Buds FE.

As for now, it is unconfirmed when or if Malaysia is getting the Galaxy S23 FE model as well as the other FE models – but based on precedence, we should be looking forward to the model releasing in our market soon.
